On December 7, 2023, Germany issued this commemorative marking the 75^th anniversary of the adoption by the United Nations of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which was the result of the experience of the Second World War. The central image on the stamp combines the abstract silhouette of an open hand with that of a dove of peace.
